I have been teaching 8th grade history for 26 years at North Middle. I really enjoy teaching middle school children. As they are maturing from being a child to a teen, I enjoy helping them make that transition and guiding them toward becoming independent, responsible, caring adults. Like most teachers, I enjoy seeing children learn and change. Building lifetime relationships is also a great reward. 

Teaching is a second career for me. Teaching, however, has always been a part of my professional life. I have lived and worked in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa and have visited many other places in the world. My wife Ella and I have been married for 28 years. I have two daughters and two grandsons. My Faith, Family and Community are what I value most.
